The year is 1998, and Tang Jia Ni (Ruby Lin) has just discovered that her boyfriend cheated on her. Wanting to give him a taste of his own medicine, Jia Ni has a one-night stand with neighbor Fang Wei De (Leroy Yang, Story of Time), which unexpectedly leads to something more. Just as the two are falling for one another, the 921 earthquake changes their lives forever. Jun Jie (Melvin Sia, Dance Dance Dragon), one of Jia Ni’s best friends, is partially crippled in the earthquake. Jia Ni decides to stay by Jun Jie’s side to take care of him, and eventually, they get married. After a decade, Jia Ni and Wei De meet again, and it’s clear that something remains between them, but they part without doing anything. In 2013, a friend’s wedding brings the two erstwhile lovers together yet again. Will they part ways as they did in 2008? Or will they finally act on their feelings?
