Smart and meticulous but a bit socially tone-deaf, rookie TV producer Baek Seung Chan (Kim Soo Hyun) has just started working at the KBS variety program division, but on the very first day, he’s already managed to upset Music Bank producer Tak Ye Jin (Kong Hyo Jin) whose tense backstage confrontation with aloof pop idol Cindy (IU) over her stage costume culminates in a broadcast incident. Meanwhile, harried producer Ra Joon Mo (Cha Tae Hyun) has been summoned yet again by the government censorship board and he hears rumors that his struggling reality program 2 Days & 1 Night (which Cha is a cast member on in real life) may be getting pulled. Professional and romantic wires will cross when Ye Jin moves in with longtime friend Joon Mo, Seung Chan joins Joon Mo’s team and Cindy gets cast for 2 Days & 1 Night!
